Rico Smith
Rodriquez (Rico) Smith, before transitioning to full-time ministry in 2016, was an accomplished banker & branch supervisor at Regions Bank & Hope Federal Credit Union. While in banking, he received recognition from the institutions for his aggressive sales skill, customer service, and his “larger-than-life’ attitude. He frequently exceeded quotas set forth by both the local branch and national directors.
Rico has been granted admission into Urshan College where he will pursue his Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Leadership. In 2019, he founded Apostolic Culture Apparel Line, Inc that is slated to be Summer 2019.
Rico, in 2018, founded Rico Smith Ministries, Inc. where he serves as Chairman of the board. Through Rico Smith Ministries, Inc., he has fostered unity between various apostolic organizations and has been conducting interviews in a series called ‘No More Taboo” where God would use him to address issues that have plagued the apostolic community for decades. Culminating as a result of the interviews will be the “Azusa Again” revival conference scheduled to take place February 2020 in Jackson, MS that will see the UPCI, PAW, COOLJC, and many other Oneness Apostolic-Pentecostal groups come together to usher in the healing, unity, & revival the body of Christ needs. He is married to Christian Smith & the couple has three beautiful daughters: Ivy Grace, Kinsley Elizabeth, & Madeline Rose.
Gideon Assefa
Gideon is currently the music minister at New Testament Christian Center in Montgomery, AL. He has a passion for excellence and to further God’s kingdom through music. He graduated from Indiana Bible College with a minor in Worship Studies and is currently pursuing a Masters in Business Administration from Grace College and Theological Seminary.
He currently has received his Real Estate License in the state of Alabama and would like expand his knowledge in owning and renting real estate.
He has experience in performing in conferences across the world and has been involved in multiple recordings. His current role for the chamber is to help other businesses join the chamber for its benefits and its community.
